1. Scope
This policy explains how information is handled by KIROEX LTD through the Excel Formula Trainer Android application (“the app”) and this product website (“the website”).
2. Information stored by the app
The app stores the following information only on your device so it can provide learning, recommendations, and progress features:
- Your selected experience level and learning goals.
- Lesson completion, exercise history, answers, and accuracy.
- Current and longest streaks, activity, study time, and mastery.
- Favourite formulas and recently viewed formulas.
- Theme, feedback, reminder, and other app preferences.
This information is held in the app’s private local database and preferences. It is not a developer profile and is not associated with an account.
3. Information sent by the app
Nothing. The app has no internet permission and makes no network requests. It has no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, account, or remote-service software. The formula catalogue and practice questions are bundled in the app.
4. Notifications and permissions
If you enable the optional daily reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. Notification, vibration, and restart permissions are used only for the reminder and optional answer feedback. Reminder data is not transmitted.
5. Backups and device transfer
The app opts out of Android cloud backup and excludes its data from the configured device-transfer rules. Learning history is intended to remain on that installation.
6. Deleting app data
Settings > Reset progress clears lesson progress, exercise history, streaks, favourites, and recent views. Appearance, feedback, and reminder preferences remain until you change them or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes the app’s locally stored data.
7. Website data
The website code does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, accounts, or a contact form that submits data. It may save a light/dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage. The support-note tool formats text locally and, when you choose, asks your browser to copy it to the clipboard.
If this static website is hosted by a third-party infrastructure provider, that provider may process standard technical request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of request for security and delivery. The final publisher should identify the hosting provider here before public deployment if required by applicable law.
8. Third-party links
The website may link to Google Play or other external services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Excel Formula Trainer does not receive your activity on those services through tracking code on this website.
9. Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. A parent or guardian can remove locally stored learning progress using Reset progress or by uninstalling the app.
10. Security
The main privacy safeguard is data minimisation: no personal information is requested by the app and no learning data is transmitted. No method of device storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, so protect access to your device using Android’s available security controls.
